Gratitude wells up within my soul,
for Awurade Nyankopon has been good.
We started this journey with our faces in the dirt,
but now the spotlight is stuck on us.

Hardship and struggles tightened us to the grip,
that the street was familiar with the smell of our sweat,
but His grace found us, and our path was remade,
that now, we're even a threat to poverty.

We were once lost in the wilderness of life,
But now we're finding our way through the strife.
The stars that once seemed out of reach,
are now within our grasp.

In those times when it felt like we were chasing zero,
and our skins had cracked to form lines of our sufferings,
with our faces serving as a testament to how time had beaten us,
the Lord assured us that though we are late, we aren\u2019t going to be the last.

And indeed, He lived up to His words!
amidst the mockery, here we stand, lifted above mountains.
So today, we write to the heavens,
expressing our profound gratitude.
