But then, time conspired with distance to keep us apart.
A void got stuck in my life ever since your absence
and a loner I have remained ever since then.
Though now l've grown,
I still smell the fragrance of my childhood;
That childhood you made beautiful by being part of.
I miss those special laughters only our yesterday's conversations could permit me to let out,
the tickling secrets you used to whisper into my ears.

There was a thing in you that could lift up my mood anytime any day.
What a friend I had in you!
Though the past may have decayed as time passed by,
I still cherish every moment I got to spend with you;
those moments which have now turned into memories,
