Gratitude wells up within my soul,
for Awurade Nyankopon has been good.
We started this journey with our faces in the dirt,
but now the spotlight is stuck on us.
Hardship and struggles tightened us to the grip,
that the street was familiar with the smell of our sweat,
but His grace found us, and our path was remade,
that now, we're even a threat to poverty.
We were once lost in the wilderness of life,
But now we're finding our way through the strife.
The stars that once seemed out of reach,
are now within our grasp.
